Job summary

Kares International in Makati is seeking a skilled Painter to join our maintenance team onsite. The ideal candidate will prepare surfaces, apply paints and protective coatings, and help maintain interior and exterior areas with attention to detail and safety. Candidates should have at least 1 year of painting experience, familiarity with tools and equipment, and the ability to work at heights.

A high school or vocational graduate is acceptable. Overtime and meals on duty are provided.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational graduate or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Painter.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing.
• Skilled with painting tools and equipment (brushes, rollers, spray guns).
• Physically fit and able to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and finishes to various surfaces.
• Perform touch-up painting and repaint areas as needed.
• Inspect surfaces for high-quality finishes.
• Mix and match colors according to project requirements.
• Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Keep the work area clean after completing tasks.
• Coordinate painting schedules with Maintenance or Engineering.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and protective coatings, and maintaining the appearance of the property's interior and exterior areas. The role requires attention to detail, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and applying primer before painting.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Perform touch-up painting and repaint areas as needed.
• Inspect painted surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Mix and match paint colors according to project requirements.
• Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment properly.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area after completing assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with the Engineering or Maintenance Department regarding repair and painting schedules.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
