Job summary

Staff Domain Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to support PACS/RIS in a healthcare environment. You will administer Oracle databases, HL7 interfaces, DICOM workflows, and manage Windows/Linux servers in a 24x7 clinical operations setting.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting across application, database, network, and OS layers, building automation scripts, and collaborating with hospital IT teams to ensure secure interoperability with HIS/EMR and other clinical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle databases, HL7 interfaces, DICOM workflows, and PACS/RIS in healthcare environments.
• Scripting/automation skills in PowerShell and Python; Windows/Linux server administration.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and ability to troubleshoot across multiple layers.
• Familiarity with 24x7 clinical operations and healthcare interoperability standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and administration of PACS, RIS, and related healthcare imaging apps.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across application, database, interface, network, and OS levels.
• Support implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment of new PACS/RIS environments.
• Manage HL7 interfaces between RIS, PACS, HIS/EMR and clinical systems.
• Support DICOM workflows and modality worklists; ensure system reliability and security.
• Administer Oracle and SQL databases; performance monitoring, backup, and recovery.
• Maintain Windows Server and Linux environments; document procedures and SOPs.
• Develop automation scripts; participate in system upgrades and platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with hospital IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless operation of clinical systems.
• Contribute to major PACS replacement projects and healthcare technology deliveries.
