Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a technical support engineer to deliver services for Change Healthcare PACS and Cloud products. You will work remotely from the office with occasional travel up to 20% and handle SQL, Unix/Linux, and VMware environments while ensuring patient imaging data integrity and performance.

You will configure systems, perform upgrades, monitor data, generate reports, and collaborate with teams to optimize workflows. A BA/BS in CS and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms as support or administrator.
• Experience with GitLab and Jira.
• Experience with Medical Imaging, PACS or DICOM.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily communications with customers and ensure resolution and follow-up.
• Diagnose and resolve problems at customer sites and remotely; test system performance.
• Install/upgrade hardware and software; configure systems and document per processes.
• Perform functional inspections and data validation to minimize errors.
• Provide feedback and recommend workflow/tools improvements.
• Generate customer reports and manage data sharing across systems.
• Work on Unix, Linux, and VMware environments; set up Google Transfer Appliances.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
