Job summary

JTI seeks a Production - Make Pack operator in Batangas, Philippines, to run tobacco processing and packing lines with QA compliance. You will join a diverse, safety-focused team and contribute to continuous improvement.

The role requires basic English and math, good communication, and willingness to work rotating shifts. Prior manufacturing experience is valued but not required; training will be provided and growth opportunities exist within the plant.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational graduate is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic English and math skills.
• Good communication, multitasking, and basic computer skills.
• Willing to work on rotating or shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate tobacco processing and cigarette making/packing machines independently to produce quality products in line with QA specifications while minimizing product on hold.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures, understanding potential hazards, and applying required control measures.
• Practice good housekeeping by complying with 5S standards, keeping the workplace clean and organized, and supporting environmental protection activities.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support smooth operations.
• Comply with EHS procedures, labor laws, company policies, and work instructions, and perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Demonstrate safe behavior at all times by following safety rules, attending training, and promptly reporting incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
