Job summary

Amentum seeks a Cement Mason to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will perform construction support on small projects, reporting to Program Leadership. You must have three years mason experience or trade school training, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Three years masonry experience or trade school training in concrete repair and new construction.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with cross-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace with safety as the top priority.
• Comply with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements.
• Provide information and materials for documentation and records.
• Repair, maintain and alter buildings and structures.
• Mix mortar, lay bricks and concrete sidewalks; finish concrete surfaces.
• Install and repair tile floors; perform carpentry incidental to masonry.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on concrete projects.
