Job summary

NCS Philippines in Makati City is seeking an Outsystems Developer (Mid Level) to join our enterprise software team. You will design, build, and maintain low-code applications on the Outsystems platform, translating business needs into scalable solutions.

You will work through the full SDLC, collaborating with analysts and stakeholders, writing clean code, performing unit testing, and staying current with Outsystems updates and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years hands-on Outsystems development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Outsystems tools (Service Studio, Integration Studio).
• Solid understanding of low-code development and enterprise app architecture.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL; able to design/optimize queries.
• Familiarity with web services and APIs; knowledge of system integration concepts.
• Knowledge of version control and collaborative workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work both independently and in a team.
• Desirable: ERP experience, Outsystems certification, and cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GC).

About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Outsystems Developer (Mid Level) to join NCS Philippines in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level application development using the Outsystems platform. In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining robust low-code applications that drive business value across our diverse client portfolio. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, utilising the Outsystems framework to deliver scalable solutions efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using the Outsystems platform, ensuring code quality, performance, and security standards are met

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and application designs

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Outsystems best practices and coding standards

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases

• Conduct unit testing and support quality assurance processes to ensure application reliability and functionality

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks in existing applications

• Collaborate with team members and senior developers to review code, share knowledge, and support continuous improvement

• Participate in technical documentation and maintain comprehensive records of developed solutions

• Stay updated with Outsystems platform updates, new features, and industry best practices

What we\'re looking for:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• 3-5 years of professional experience in application development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Outsystems platform

• Strong proficiency in Outsystems development tools, including Service Studio and Integration Studio

• Solid understanding of low-code development principles and enterprise application architecture

• Experience with relational databases and SQL, with ability to design and optimise database queries

• Familiarity with web services, APIs, and system integration concepts

• Knowledge of version control systems and collaborative development workflows

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Preferred: Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or business process automation

• Preferred: Outsystems certification or professional credentials

• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
