Job summary

NCS Philippines in Makati City is seeking an Outsystems Developer (Mid Level) to join our enterprise software team. You will design, build, and maintain low-code applications on the Outsystems platform, translating business needs into scalable solutions.

You will work through the full SDLC, collaborating with analysts and stakeholders, writing clean code, performing unit testing, and staying current with Outsystems updates and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years hands-on Outsystems development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Outsystems tools (Service Studio, Integration Studio).
• Solid understanding of low-code development and enterprise app architecture.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL; able to design/optimize queries.
• Familiarity with web services and APIs; knowledge of system integration concepts.
• Knowledge of version control and collaborative workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work both independently and in a team.
• Desirable: ERP experience, Outsystems certification, and cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GC).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using the Outsystems platform, ensuring code quality, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Outsystems best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Conduct unit testing and support QA processes to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Review code with team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Produce technical documentation and maintain records of solutions.
• Stay updated with Outsystems platform updates and industry best practices.
