Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise-scale technology solutions in Makati City. The role focuses on aligning IT initiatives with business strategy, ensuring scalability, security and efficiency across infrastructure and applications.

You will work with senior leadership and technical teams to define standards and best practices, drive digital transformation, and mentor junior architects in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture or related tech leadership roles.
• Extensive knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman or ArchiMate frameworks and proven application.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure, security architecture and multi-cloud integration.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise application integration solutions and middleware platforms.
• Proficiency with architecture modelling tools (ArchiMate, UML) and visualization techniques.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure or equivalent are desirable.
• Experience in digital transformation initiatives or organisational change management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

About the role:

NCS Philippines is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our growing team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to design, plan and oversee the implementation of enterprise-level technology solutions that drive business transformation across our organisation and client portfolio.

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a critical strategic role in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, ensuring scalability, security and efficiency across our IT infrastructure and applications. You will work collaboratively with senior leadership, technical teams and stakeholders to define architectural standards, frameworks and best practices that support our organisation\'s long-term vision and competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive enterprise architecture strategies, frameworks and roadmaps that align with business goals and organisational objectives


• Design scalable, secure and cost-effective technology solutions that support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives


• Conduct detailed assessments of current IT infrastructure, applications and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement


• Define architectural standards, principles, patterns and governance policies to ensure consistency and quality across all technology implementations


• Collaborate with business units, stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, translate them into architectural specifications and guide implementation


• Review and approve technology proposals, system designs and integration approaches to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards


• Lead architectural reviews and design validation sessions to assess technical feasibility, risk mitigation and adherence to established guidelines


• Manage relationships with vendors, system integrators and technology partners to ensure optimal delivery of enterprise solutions


• Mentor and guide junior architects and technical staff on best practices, emerging technologies and architectural methodologies


• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies and competitive landscape to inform strategic architectural recommendations

What we\'re looking for:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience




• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems design or related technical leadership roles




• Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (such as TOGAF, Zachman or ArchiMate) and proven experience applying them in practice




• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure, security architecture and integration patterns across hybrid and multi-cloud environments




• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing enterprise application integration solutions, middleware platforms and data management architectures




• Proficiency with architecture modelling tools, diagramming software and visualisation techniques (such as ArchiMate, UML or similar)




• Excellent understanding of IT governance, compliance frameworks, risk management and information security principles




• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organisational levels




• Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions




• Leadership experience with the ability to influence, guide and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and departments




• Relevant certifications (such as TOGAF Certified, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent) are highly desirable




• Experience in digital transformation initiatives, business process optimisation or organisational change management is a significant advantage.
