Job summary

White Cloak Technologies, Inc. is seeking an OutSystems Developer to enhance and maintain an existing banking application by integrating new backend services and microservices while preserving current business logic and stability across the platform.

You will design and expose APIs, extend dashboards and workflows, and ensure robust validations, data integrity, and security across integrations with databases and backend services, within the established OutSystems architecture.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on OutSystems development.
• Experience with Reactive Web Applications using OutSystems Service Studio.
• Experience with OutSystems API and integration capabilities, including connecting applications with backend services and microservices.
• Strong understanding of the OutSystems database layer and data synchronization.
• Experience working with and enhancing existing application logic, workflows, business rules, and validation mechanisms.
• Ability to assess the impact of application changes and implement enhancements without disrupting existing functionality.
• Experience in banking or financial services applications is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain existing OutSystems banking applications by integrating new backend services and microservices while preserving existing business logic, functionality, and system stability.
• Design, develop, and expose APIs and system integrations to synchronize banking data accurately and timely between the OutSystems application, database, and backend services.
• Enhance operational dashboards and user-facing features to provide accurate and timely visibility of banking transactions, processes, and operational data received through integrated APIs.
• Develop and maintain notification, approval, and workflow processes, ensuring business rules, authorization controls, and audit requirements are consistently applied.
• Extend existing validation and business rules to support new banking requirements while maintaining data integrity, security, and compatibility with established application processes.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and perform impact analysis on existing OutSystems modules, integrations, and database components to minimize disruptions to critical banking operations.
