Job summary

Globe Telecom in the Philippines is seeking an Outside Plant Engineer to drive cable solution planning and project enablement for Access Transport. The role requires assessing OSP cable facilities for Wireless and Wireline projects and coordinating with related teams.

You will work on PR preparation, vendor awards, and contribute to network design strategy, with foundational knowledge of OSP planning, Transmission fundamentals, and 2G/3G/LTE RAN/IBS.

Responsibilities

• Outside Plant (OSP) cable facilities assessment both Wireless & Wireline projects and fundamental plan creation.
• PR preparation and Vendor awarding processing.
• Close collaboration within Access, Transport and Facility Planning and Engineering team for OSP network assessment and design strategy.
• Basic knowledge in Outside Plant planning and design.
• Basic knowledge in 2G/3G/LTE RAN/IBS.
• Basic knowledge on Transmission Network fundamentals.
