Job summary

Expedock is seeking an Outbound Community Specialist to expand our client’s presence in the crypto/Web3 ecosystem. You will engage with founders, moderators, project teams, and community members, building authentic relationships and generating qualified opportunities for the sales or partnerships team.

The role emphasizes relationship-building over hard selling and requires strong written English, 1–3+ years in relevant fields, and independence in remote work settings.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in Community Management, Business Development, SDR/BDR, Lead Generation, Social Selling, and Crypto/Web3 ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Web3 concepts.
• Active user of Discord, Telegram, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research relevant crypto communities across Discord, Telegram, X (Twitter), Reddit, LinkedIn, Farcaster and community forums.
• Join and actively participate in communities while following platform rules and etiquette.
• Introduce our services through personalized outreach and value-based conversations.
• Qualify prospects and identify projects that may benefit from our solutions.
• Book discovery calls or demos for the Business Development team.
• Track outreach activities using CRM and outreach tools.
• Monitor discussions to identify opportunities, trends, and potential partnerships.
• Share market intelligence and community feedback with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging and outreach campaigns.
• Meet weekly outreach, engagement, and qualified lead generation targets.

Who We Need:

As an Outbound Community Specialist (Crypto Outreach) at Expedock, you will help expand our client's presence within the crypto and Web3 ecosystem. This role is responsible for identifying relevant communities, engaging with founders, moderators, project teams, and community members, and introducing their products and services in a natural, value‑first manner.

This is not a hard‑selling role. Success comes from building authentic relationships, creating meaningful conversations, and generating qualified opportunities for the sales or partnerships team.

What You Need:

• 1–3+ years of experience in:

• Active user of Discord, Telegram, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn.

• Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers online.
• Strong research and prospecting skills.
• Organized and capable of managing multiple conversations simultaneously.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a crypto startup or Web3 company.
• Existing network within crypto communities.
• Familiarity with NFT, DeFi, Layer 1/Layer 2 ecosystems, AI, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.).
• Experience with outreach tools such as Apollo, Clay, PhantomBuster, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of token launches, fundraising, and ecosystem growth.
