Job summary

Maersk is seeking an AR professional in Manila to handle payments posting in SAP, reconcile On Account and Suspense items, and ensure timely processing with strong accuracy. The role supports global trade operations within a multinational setting.

The ideal candidate has a BS Accountancy, OTC/AR experience, and solid Excel skills. You will collaborate with local and global teams, and adapt to a night-shift schedule as needed, contributing to Maersk's reliable financial operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or related course.
• Experience in OTC or AR roles.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
• SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Able to meet deadlines and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Post/apply payments in SAP as per customer/collector’s request and reduce On Account and Suspense account inflows.
• Validate customer payments against outstanding invoices and update the AFR trigger.
• Ensure compliance with standard processes with no negative findings on Financial Audit and Control.
• Handle investigation and clearing of On Account and Suspense Account items.
• Meet all KPIs and complete tasks by the SLA.
• Provide timely communication with local and GSC counterparts and escalate as needed.
• Initiate process improvements and share knowledge with the team.
• Keep updated on developments in the area of operation.
• Highlight variances to Team Leader with reasons for deviation.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to shared knowledge within the function.
• Carry out ad hoc tasks, backups and projects assigned by Team Leader/Process Manager.
