Job summary

Sopra Steria Group is seeking an Oracle Fusion Data Migration & Configuration Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on functional configuration of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, based on business requirements, across modules like AP, AR, Cash, Procurement, Projects, and HCM.

You will manage configurations across Development, Test, UAT and Production, prepare migration sets, validate environments, and provide post-go-live support with strong documentation and governance discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud certification in relevant functional modules will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Cloud applications based on business and functional requirements.
• Set up and configure using the Setup and Maintenance work area.
• Configure modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Procurement, Projects, and HCM.

Job Title: Oracle Fusion Data Migration & Configuration Specialist

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud certification in relevant functional modules will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oracle Fusion Functional Configuration

• Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Cloud applications based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform setup and configuration activities using the Setup and Maintenance work area.
• Support configuration of relevant Oracle Fusion modules, depending on project requirements, such as:
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Cash Management
• Procurement
• Projects
• HCM
• Configure enterprise structures, business units, ledgers, legal entities, reference data sets, approval rules, lookups, value sets, flexfields, and other application setups as applicable.
• Configure and maintain descriptive flexfields (DFF), extensible flexfields (EFF), key flexfields (KFF), value sets, and standard/custom lookups.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion functional configuration solutions.
• Prepare configuration workbooks and maintain complete documentation of setup changes.
• Manage movement of Oracle Fusion configurations across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
• Create, validate, export, import, and deploy Oracle Fusion configuration migration sets.
• Support full and delta migration activities where applicable.
• Validate source and target environment readiness before migration and ensure appropriate release and patch alignment.
• Review configuration differences and support impact analysis before deployment.
• Identify configurations, security changes, roles, or other artifacts requiring manual migration or separate deployment processes.
• Perform post-migration validation and coordinate functional testing to ensure successful deployment. Oracle recommends validating migration sets, reviewing missing roles, and performing functional testing after configurations are applied.
• Maintain configuration version control, migration logs, deployment records, and rollback documentation.

3. Cutover & Post-Go-Live Support

• Develop and maintain detailed data migration and cutover plans.
• Participate in mock cutovers and production deployment activities.
• Coordinate pre-cutover, cutover, and post-cutover data validation.
• Provide hypercare support following Oracle Fusion go-live.
• Resolve high-priority configuration and data-related incidents.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve data migration and configuration processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple migration and configuration activities simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder and business communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Good understanding of ITIL, Change Management, Release Management, and Incident Management processes.
• Strong documentation and governance discipline.

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
