Job summary

Aeven Group is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with strong Oracle database technology expertise and hands-on Ansible automation. You will install, configure, administer, tune, backup, and secure Oracle databases while driving automation across IaC practices.

The role covers RAC/ASM/Data Guard/RMAN, performance tuning, and collaboration with Linux/Cloud teams. Hybrid schedule with in-office presence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c+.
• Hands-on with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN.
• Minimum 2+ years developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks; strong Linux/Unix knowledge.
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Python, or Perl).
• Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases.
• Administer DBs across Dev, Test, UAT, Prod environments.
• Monitor performance and resolve bottlenecks.
• Configure Oracle RAC/ASM/Data Guard/RMAN environments.
• Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning/testing.
• Implement security standards and access controls.
• Manage storage, capacity planning, and performance.
• Troubleshoot incidents and outages.
• Design and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning and patching.
• Automate deployment, health checks, and monitoring.
• Integrate IaC with CI/CD pipelines; develop automation docs.
• Collaborate with Linux/Cloud teams; support on-prem and cloud DBs.
• Maintain architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security/audit requirements.
