Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks a Process/Operations Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all processing equipment across designated units in a field/workstation setting.

You will perform startup, operation, maintenance, and shutdown tasks according to SOPs, while drawing samples for laboratory tests and preparing lines for maintenance turnover to uphold safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate is preferred and a licensed engineer is strongly preferred.
• Willing to be assigned in Bataan.

Responsibilities

• Operate, start-up, maintain, or shut down equipment per SOP.
• Draw samples for routine laboratory tests or special tests.
• Prepare lines, vessels or equipment for turnover to Maintenance and for safe turnaround.
• Perform basic equipment care and monitor performance by reading critical parameters.

Job description

A Process/ Operations Technician is in charge of the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities associated with processing crude oil into various petroleum products. He is specifically assigned to do field works and/or workstation operation in any of the major process unit covering FCC-2, VPS-2, CGOHT, SHP-2, PRU-2, PNU, and LPGT-3/4.

He is primarily responsible in ensuringsafe and efficient operation of all equipment in his assigned area. He operates, starts-up, maintains, or shuts down equipment per Standard Operating Procedures. He is also responsible fordrawing samples for routine laboratory test or for special tests as required, preparation of lines, vessels or equipment for turnover to Maintenance and forsafe maintenance and turnaround according to established procedures, performs basic equipment care (BEC) and monitors equipment performance by taking readings of critical monitoring parameters.

Qualifications:

• Engineering graduate, licensed Engineer is strongly preferred.
• Willing to be assigned in Bataan.
