Job summary

Brenton International Venture Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the Plant Operations Head in overseeing daily plant activities and ensuring efficient team performance.

You will lead safety initiatives, manage manpower scheduling, monitor equipment productivity, and coordinate cylinder maintenance and inventory while guiding a team toward operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an engineering program (Mechanical, Industrial, Petroleum, etc.).
• At least 1 year of experience as Operations Supervisor or in a related role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• PRC licensure is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee refilling activities and ensure safe, efficient production flow.
• Supervise scheduling of manpower for daily operations.
• Monitor machine efficiency and productivity of plant equipment.
• Supervise leak tests on gas pipelines with technicians.
• Plan inventory and storage levels for bulk deliveries and transfers.
• Supervise cylinder washing, painting, repainting, and retouching.
• Schedule manpower for cylinders under maintenance.
• Ensure safety systems in cylinder maintenance flow.
• Coordinate inventory of cylinders with Cylinder Controller.
• Monitor daily tasks and guide subordinates.

About the role

The Operations Supervisor provides assistance to the Plant Operations Head in overseeing plant operations. They facilitate the daily activities of various sections of plant operations and ensure team efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee refilling activity and ensure safety and efficient flow of production in the platform area
• Supervise and facilitate scheduling of manpower requirements in relation to daily operations
• Ensure and report machine efficiency and productivity of all plant equipment and machineries
• Supervise leak test through all gas pipelines with technical personnel
• Check and plan inventory and storage level stocks in relation to volume withdrawals, schedule of bulk deliveries, floor stocks, stock transfer and sales
• Supervise washing, painting, repainting, and retouching works of different classification of cylinders
• Schedule manpower requirements in relation to the total number of cylinders undergoing maintenance
• Ensure safety system of works in the flow of production in cylinder maintenance
• Manage inventory of cylinders in coordination with the Cylinder Controller
• Monitor daily tasks and objectives of subordinates and provide crucial guidance and support

About you

• Graduate of any engineering course (Mechanical, Industrial, Petroleum etc.)
• At least one (1) year of experience as an Operations Supervisor or in a related role
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good strategic and analytical skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong leadership skills
