Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Specialist to support derivatives across Asia Structured Products and payments and transfers. You will manage lifecycles, confirmations, MTM, and front-office liaison to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires a degree in Business/Finance and 3–5 years in finance; Avaloq experience is a plus. The position is based on site in Bugis and offers a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Finance or other relevant streams.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial sector will be an advantage.
• Experience in Avaloq application will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of financial products.
• Meticulous and strong in data management.

Responsibilities

• Derivatives (Asia Structured Products): manage product lifecycles, set up assets, and provide long-form client confirmations.
• Perform trade and cashflow confirmations to counterparties and manage daily fixings until end of product lifecycle.
• Handle daily OTC FX Options and DCI fixings and manage daily valuation (MTM).
• Notify front office of redemptions for structured notes and act as SME for operations.

Job description

• Salary: $5,000 - $6,500 per month

• Working Location: Bugis

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm

Responsibilities:

Derivatives (Asia Structured Products):

• Manage AC/DC Product Lifecycle Processes (Equity and FX underlyings / Pivots / TARFs)

  • Create and set-up asset in system and provide long form confirmation for client

  • Perform trade and cashflow confirmation to counterparties

  • Manage daily fixings until end of product lifecycle

• Handle daily OTC FX Options and DCI Fixings

• Manage and upload daily valuation (MTM)

• Notify front office timely of any (early) redemptions for structured notes (FCN/ELN)

• Be the subject matter expert for front office and head office Operations

Payments / Transfers:

• Process incoming and outgoing payments and troubleshoot when issues arise

• Manage the delivery of securities free of payment and vs payment (incoming and outgoing)

• Handle cheque and cash related transactions

• Dealing with Head Office for Reconciliation breaks

Special Condition Set-up / Handling

Amend and verify stock exchange orders

Manage retrocession and trailer

Other tasks:

• Perform client offboarding related task

• Write off securities

• Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) application and renewal

• Handle return mail management

• Mail physical output

• Manage physical archive

• Be a point of contact across various teams in local and head office

• Perform any other ad hoc operations activities or projects as required to support the team

Requirements:

• Degree in Business/Finance or other relevant streams

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Financial sector will be an advantage

• Experience in Avaloq application will be an advantage

• Basic understanding of financial products

• Meticulous and strong in data management
