Job summary

Pointer Digital Security Philippines Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to coordinate security services from monitoring to hardware installations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance with industry standards.

You will oversee service delivery, develop SOPs, manage vendor relationships and procurement, and drive process improvements across departments while tracking KPIs and maintaining security certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in operations, preferably within the tech or security industry.
• Technical knowledge of Digital Security (such as CCTV, Access Control, Biometrics, FDAS, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage teams, including technical staff and administrative personnel.
• Experience handling complex projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on schedule.
• The ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are profitable.
• Strong skills in crisis management and the ability to fix operational bottlenecks.
• Clear professional communication for dealing with both technical teams and high-level management.
• Able to travel
• Able to work independently

Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW:

An Operations Manager is the central coordinator who ensures that technical security services from cybersecurity monitoring to physical hardware installations are delivered efficiently, profitably, and in full compliance with industry standards. They serve as the vital link between high-level business strategy and day-to-day technical execution, managing everything from vendor relationships and equipment procurement to the enforcement of strict data privacy protocols. By optimizing internal workflows and monitoring team performance, they minimize operational risks and ensure that the company consistently meets its service commitments to clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service Delivery Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of security projects, ensuring that technical teams meet client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and response time targets for threat mitigation.
• Process Optimization: Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for technical workflows, such as incident reporting, hardware installation, and data handling, to reduce errors and improve speed.
• Compliance and Risk Oversight: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to data privacy laws and security certifications (such as ISO 27001 or GDPR) to protect both company and client assets.
• Supply Chain and Procurement: Manage relationships with security hardware and software vendors, overseeing the procurement of cameras, servers, and licenses to ensure project timelines are met without overspending.
• Inter-departmental Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between technical departments, sales, and HR to ensure staffing levels are adequate and that sales promises align with technical capabilities.
• Financial Performance Tracking: Monitor operational budgets, analyze project profitability, and identify cost-saving opportunities within the department's day-to-day activities.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as system uptime, mean time to resolve (MTTR) issues, and overall technician utilization rates.
