Job summary

STARPORT PH HOLDINGS INC is seeking an experienced Vessel Operations Manager to oversee daily vessel operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant maritime activities. The role requires strong leadership and cross-functional coordination with vessel masters, crew, and technical teams.

You will monitor performance, maintenance, and regulatory compliance while guiding teams to achieve operational objectives and maintain high safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation, Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience in vessel operations or maritime management.
• Strong knowledge of marine operations, vessel management, and maritime regulations.
• Experience as Marine Superintendent, Vessel Superintendent, or similar maritime management role preferred.
• Strong understanding of vessel safety, maintenance, and operational procedures.
• Knowledge of maritime laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with vessel crew, management, clients, and stakeholders.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned vessels.
• Ensure vessels operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable maritime regulations.
• Coordinate with vessel masters, crew, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor vessel performance, maintenance, and operational requirements.
• Support and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Address operational issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and review operational reports and documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to vessel teams and ensure operational objectives are met.
