Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, on behalf of a building materials company, seeks an Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end operations, align with executive objectives, and drive efficiency and sustainable growth. The role is onsite with field work in Mandaue City, Cebu, reporting to the COO and CEO.

Responsibilities include governance, cross-functional leadership across departments, supply chain management, cost control, process improvement, quality and compliance, and people management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any Business-related courses; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in operations with 5 years in leadership capacity.
• Proven track record in managing multi-channel operations (B2B Projects, Wholesale, Retail, Supply Chain) within furnishing, finishing materials, construction, or interior fit-out industry.
• Excellent ability to communicate, negotiate, and align with Business Owners and top management.
• Deep expertise in end-to-end supply chain, warehouse management, project logistics, and inventory control systems (ERP/WMS).
• Strong decision-making capability, change management skills, and crisis leadership.

Responsibilities

• Executive & Operational Governance: Translate business strategies into actionable operational plans and oversee policy implementation.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Align department heads across Warehouse & Logistics, Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Administration.
• Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Oversee warehousing, inventory, material flow, fulfilment, and logistics for projects, distributors, showrooms, and direct clients.
• Performance & Process Improvement: Monitor KPIs, costs, lead times, and resource use; reduce waste and drive improvements.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure SOPs, QMS standards, safety requirements, regulations, and corporate policies; perform root-cause analyses.
• People & Resource Management: Lead managers, plan manpower, allocate resources, and ensure capacity for growth.
• Stakeholder & Issue Management: Promote accountability, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues impacting customers or profitability.

Our respective client is seeking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and integrating the company’s end-to-end operations, ensuring alignment with executive objectives, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth. The role serves as a key liaison to senior management and provides strategic direction across logistics, supply chain, sales operations, customer service, and administration. This role has an onsite and field work requirement in Mandaue City, Cebu and will be reporting to the COO and CEO.

Responsibilities

• Executive & Operational Governance: Partner with company executives to translate business strategies into actionable operational plans, provide performance updates and recommendations, and oversee the implementation of key policies and initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and align department heads and supervisors across Warehouse & Logistics, Sales & Showrooms, Purchasing/Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Administration to achieve shared business goals and operational standards.
• Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Oversee warehousing, inventory management, material flow, fulfilment, and logistics activities for projects, distributors, showrooms, and direct clients while ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Performance & Process Improvement: Establish and monitor KPIs, operational costs, lead times, and resource utilization. Identify process gaps, eliminate operational waste, reduce costs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Quality & Compliance: Drive adherence to SOPs, QMS standards, safety requirements, statutory regulations, and corporate policies. Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to address recurring operational issues.
• People & Resource Management: Lead, mentor, and evaluate managers and supervisors while overseeing manpower planning, resource allocation, and capacity requirements to support business growth and operational continuity.
• Stakeholder & Issue Management: Promote cross-departmental accountability, resolve operational conflicts, and ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues that may impact customers, profitability, or business performance.
