Job summary

Global Aerospace Technology in Cavite, Philippines, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse and manufacturing activities, drive efficiency, and ensure safety and quality. You will develop strategies, monitor KPIs, and coach a cross-functional team to meet productivity targets.

The role requires a 5–8 year track record in warehousing/manufacturing with strong leadership and analytical skills, plus familiarity with ERP/WMS and MS Office. Aerospace knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing operations, including leadership or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, production planning, inventory management, process improvement, and operational best practices.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple operational priorities.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/Warehouse Management Systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse and manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, safe, and effective execution of business activities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies, policies, and procedures that support organizational objectives.
• Ensure operational targets related to productivity, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, workflows, and overall efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and eliminate process inefficiencies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across all operational functions.
• Work closely with Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless operational execution.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration among teams to resolve operational issues and improve overall performance.
• Support the implementation of strategic business initiatives and operational projects.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports for senior management.
• Analyze operational data and identify trends, risks, and areas requiring improvement.
• Ensure departmental accountability for achieving operational objectives and performance targets.
• Assist in operational budget planning and monitor expenses to maintain cost efficiency.
• Optimize the utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, and other operational resources.
• Recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Identify operational risks and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant working environment.
• Lead, coach, and develop operations personnel to build a high-performing team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development and succession planning.
