Job summary

Semirara Mining and Power Corporation is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Main Plant Operations for our 2x150 MW coal-fired power facility. You will be accountable for safe, economical operation, SOP compliance, and performance optimization across the main plant, chemical, and coal handling areas.

You will drive process improvements, manage budgeting and planning, develop leadership across teams, and ensure rigorous EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
• Registered Engineer with PME or PEE is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in power generation, preferably coal-fired plant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations and optimize continuous unit performance.
• Ensure SOP compliance through inspections and reviews.
• Collaborate across departments to improve processes and reliability.
• Lead operational planning and budgeting within financial parameters.
• Analyze reports to realign resources and priorities.
• Lead talent screening, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Drive a culture of results with formal rewards and KPI tracking.
• Enforce EHS policies and regulatory compliance.
