Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in internal or operations audit, with strong Excel skills and willingness to travel to site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the listed fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal or operations audit, compliance or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk-based auditing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Willingness to conduct field/site assignments and travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based operational audits and field verification activities.
• Evaluate internal controls, processes, and operational compliance.
• Identify operational risks, control gaps, irregularities, and improvement opportunities.
• Review mine operations, procurement, inventory, contractors, equipment, fuel, maintenance and expenditures.
• Prepare clear, evidence-based audit reports and recommendations.
• Monitor corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
• Support continuous improvement and stronger operational risk management.
