Job summary

Job Summary

Provides support to the in-house analytics development group, assisting the Vice President of Operations Research and Analytics. Provides insight - both on demand and prescriptively - to support our Analytics-driven technology platform and to identify opportunities for systemic, continuous improvement for our global operations.

Responsibilities

• Leads high-priority research and analytics (inclusive of modeling-related) efforts for a multi-national, 17,000or more-person company with hundreds of established client.
• Conducts direct research, data analysis, and other formative project efforts aroundconcepts including (but not limited to) recruitment/retention modeling and testing, contact probability, account credit worthiness/ liquidity probability, program/agent performance, customer satisfaction, and other related operational concerns.
• Independently researches and works in teams with other Analysts and operations/business owners.
• Coordinates and in some cases, manages, complex data acquisition and presentation efforts across multiple departments and business unit.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in similar role.
• Demonstrated understanding of stochastic and deterministic processes, including the use of linear and non-linear regression analysis.
• Fluency in statistical software tools including SAS and Stata and experience in relational databases/database management concepts including SQL server and SSIS.
• Hands-on experience executing all technical facets of data-driven research projects.
• Demonstrated aptitude for explaining analytical and statistical concepts to non-technical business people.
• Extreme attention to detail as well as an ability to understand and articulate strategic business and operational concepts.
• Appetite for working in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize a dynamic workload and tasks
• Exceptional communication skills - written, face-to-face, and telephonic/via remote conferencing -and experience working with geographically distributed project stakeholders and executives addressing different objectives.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal. Speak, type and/or sit for extended periods of time. Consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.
