Job Description

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning:Develop and implement operational plans, ensuring alignment with company goals for production, quality, and delivery.
• Process Optimization:Use engineering principles (Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
• Team Leadership:Manage, train, and motivate engineering and operations teams; oversee staffing, performance, and development.
• Maintenance & Facilities:Supervise maintenance schedules, repairs, and facility upkeep, potentially directing contractors and engineers.
• Quality & Compliance:Implement quality control, ensure adherence to safety (H&S), environmental, and industry regulations.
• Budget & Resources:Manage operational budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Supply Chain/Procurement:Oversee material purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
• Performance Monitoring:Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and report on operational metrics to senior management.
