Job summary

HackerRank is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work on-site with customers, leading pilots and demos and supporting evaluation and adoption. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Santa Clara, blending customer engagement with technical execution.

You will own technical dialogues, configure and explain web apps, and deliver practical, goal-driven solutions while collaborating with product, engineering, and GTM teams to align with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing technical lead with full-stack depth to configure, debug, and explain web applications and integrations.
• Ability to generate API scripts as needed in Ruby or Python.
• Clear communicator who can engage onsite with prospects and customers.
• Strong operator mindset for planning, execution, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing engagements, including discovery, pilots, and demos, as primary technical voice.
