Job summary

Regent Construction International Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to lead and monitor all safety protocols at the Cebu City project sites. You will implement DOLE-compliant safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate with site teams to ensure zero incidents.

The role requires a college degree, COSH and BOSH certifications, and 3-5 years of construction safety experience. On-site work is required at City Clou-D. Jakosalem, Zapatera Cebu City and El Sol Project - Lapu Lapu City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or college degree required.
• COSH and BOSH certifications are required.
• SO3 with LCM and HIRAC is preferred.
• 3-5 years of safety experience in construction.
• Experience in high-rise projects is preferred.
• Able to conduct safety presentations per DOLE standards.
• On-site safety inspections and toolbox meetings are required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead in managing, monitoring and implementing safety protocols at the project site.
• Establish safety standards and policies as needed.
• Enforce safety guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures.
• Anticipate, recognize and evaluate hazards and develop controls.
• Ensure PPE use and procedures compliance.
• Monitor and address all safety and security issues.
• Handle accidents and safety incidents effectively.
• Implement safety programs such as drills.
• Formulate DOLE-compliant safety guidelines and programs.
• Keep safety data to a minimum and perform assigned duties.
