Job summary

WHR Global Consulting in Manila is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance across financial processes. You will oversee financial reporting, manage accounting functions, and provide insights to support growth and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with solid accounting expertise, strong analytical skills, and a drive for continuous improvement within the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy required or equivalent.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
• 5–7 years of accounting leadership/managerial experience.
• Experience with Helix, Xero or similar platforms.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and transactions to maintain financial stability.
• Strengthen internal controls and compliance procedures.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, and performance trends; provide insights.
• Lead month-end close and prepare periodic financial reports for management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting obligations.
• Guide and develop a four-person accounting team; monitor KPIs and performance.
