Job summary

TASQ Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Medical Coder to work onsite in Clark, Pampanga or Subic, Zambales. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records for accurate ICD-10 coding, managing billing accounts while maintaining compliance, and keeping up with CMS requirements. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field is required along with at least 3 years of coding experience. Candidates should be proficient with systems like Epic and have certifications including CCS, RHIT, or RHIA.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a medical coder of any specialization.
• Strong knowledge of Coding Clinics and ICD Guidelines including newborn charts.
• Experience with MS-DRG, APR-DRG, PCS, PDX, and CC/MCC sections.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to assign ICD-10 diagnoses and procedure codes.
• Monitor and manage accounts to ensure prompt inpatient billing.
• Keep updated on CMS requirements and proper application of modifiers.
