Job summary

gamigo group is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our data infrastructure and pipelines in a fast‑paced, international environment. You will ensure smooth data flow from multiple sources to our data warehouse, enabling data‑driven decisions across teams.

The role focuses on building scalable ETL processes, managing data models and schemas, and maintaining data quality with modern tooling such as GCP, Airflow, dbt, and Kafka.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery and GCS.
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and task scheduling.
• In-depth knowledge of dbt for data transformation and modelling.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Solid understanding of Kafka or other streaming platforms for real-time data processing.
• Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, process, and transform large volumes of data.
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and database designs to support efficient data retrieval and analysis.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and monitoring mechanisms.
• Optimize data processes and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide timely support to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to data engineering and recommend improvements to data infrastructure.
