Job summary

gamigo AG is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring smooth data flow from sources to our data warehouse for better decision‑making.

You will work with Python, SQL, GCP (BigQuery and GCS), Airflow, and dbt in a collaborative, international team, supporting data quality, performance, and reliable analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
• Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery and GCS.
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and task scheduling.
• In-depth knowledge of dbt for data transformation and modelling
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Solid understanding of Kafka or other streaming platforms for real-time data processing.
• Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
