Job summary

City Government of Muntinlupa invites applications for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the finance team in Metro Manila. You will pre-audit bills, process and monitor payments, and ensure timely disbursements to suppliers while complying with policies. Experience in NAV System is a plus.

Fresh graduates are welcome; a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field is preferred, and willingness to work onsite is required. This role provides exposure to government accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Preferably with at least 6 months of experience in Accounting, specifically in Accounts Payable.
• Must be willing to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Pre-audits bills for payment and checks accuracy of documents before processing.
• Responsible for processing and monitoring payments and expenses.
• Ensures accurate, timely payment of all bills to suppliers and service providers.
• Ensures disbursement policies and procedures are strictly followed.
• Prepares payment journals for dollar transactions.
• Prepares journal entry adjustments.
• Validates monthly disbursement reports from NAV System.
• Reports security incidents or any identified weaknesses.
