Job summary

Moody's is seeking an experienced OneStream-focused developer to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and allocation models. You will build and maintain business rules, workflows, and cube views while collaborating with Finance and technology stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data modeling, testing, and integration using VB.NET/SQL in a modern analytics environment. You will contribute to the enterprise-wide adoption of Microsoft Fabric capabilities and responsibly leverage AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-7 years of experience with OneStream, focusing on planning, budgeting, forecasting, and allocation.
• Strong knowledge of VB.NET, SQL or similar OO languages for building OneStream rules.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, data modeling, and master data management concepts.
• Experience with unit testing, regression testing, and change management.
• Familiarity with Jira and analytics platforms like Power BI; AI tooling is a plus.
• OneStream certification preferred or willingness to obtain within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support for financial planning, modeling, forecasting, and close processes.
• Manage metadata maintenance: dimensions, hierarchies, member changes, testing.
• Develop, test, and support OneStream Business Rules, workflows, cube views, and custom solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations using VB.NET and SQL.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into designs.
• Participate in regression, UAT, releases, and defect resolution.
• Maintain development/testing docs in line with audit/governance.
• Support adoption of Microsoft Fabric capabilities in the planning ecosystem.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Support application security and user access management.
