Job summary

ELBURG SHIPMANAGEMENT PHILS., INC. seeks a Fitter - Transhipper Vessel to perform maintenance and repair on mechanical systems aboard transhipper vessels. The role requires welding-related duties and operation of welding, lathe, drilling and grinder equipment.

The candidate must be willing to go onboard transhipper vessels, have 3/5 with crane vessel experience, and be open to mixed-crew postings. This agency offers STCW training sponsorship and travel accommodations.

Qualifications

• Willing to go onboard in transhipper vessel.
• Must have 3/5 and with crane vessel experience.
• Willing to go onboard in mix crew.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance duties and repairs on all mechanical equipment and system.
• Responsible for welding workshop / workshop.
• Operate welding equipment, lathe, drilling machine, bench grinder.
• Prevent, control and fight fires onboard.
• Operate emergency equipment according with emergency procedures.
