Job summary

Nexus Recruitment Group is seeking a Site Architect to oversee on-site architectural planning, execution, and compliance for industrial, commercial, or mixed-use sites. You will supervise on-site implementation, collaborate with civil, MEP, structural, and interior teams, and ensure design intent and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of on-site supervision experience, proficiency with AutoCAD/SketchUp/BIM, and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, with licensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture; licensed Architect preferred.
• 4-6 years of on-site architectural supervision experience in industrial, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, construction materials, safety, and finishing details.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or BIM software; MS Project familiarity is an advantage.
• Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Willing to work onsite and travel to project locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate on-site implementation of architectural plans and specifications.
• Ensure construction quality and adherence to codes, safety, and environmental regs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, structural, and interior teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and change orders for compliance.
• Maintain records of milestones, site reports, and issue logs.
• Support contractors by interpreting plans and specifications.
• Assist in turnover documentation, punch lists, and final inspections.
• Collaborate with project team on space planning and site improvements.
