Job summary

East Asia Utilities Corporation is seeking a Safety, Health and Environment Supervisor in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. The role focuses on planning, developing, and implementing health and safety programs aligned with government standards.

You will supervise the SHE team and coordinate with operations to ensure compliance across projects. Key responsibilities include audits, incident management, training and contractor safety programs, while maintaining environmental controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of SHE experience in power/heavy industry.
• DOLE-accredited Safety Officer certification.
• Experience implementing health and safety programs, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of government regulations (DOLE, DENR, BFP, PEZA, DOH, PCG).

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and implement SHE programs, manuals, procedures for site ops and projects.
• Ensure regulatory SHE compliance across Site Operations and Projects.
• Conduct safety audits/inspections to identify hazards and risks.
• Recommend safety procedures to support loss prevention.
• Lead incident management, emergency response and risk mitigation activities.
• Conduct safety orientations, training, drills, and contractor safety programs.
• Supervise SHE personnel and monitor compliance with policies.
• Drive environmental compliance, pollution control and hazard mitigation.
