Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Safety, Health, and Environment Supervisor in Navotas City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The role leads planning, implementation, and monitoring of workplace SHE programs to ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards.

You will collaborate with the Operational Planning and Performance Management team, conduct safety audits, drive corrective actions, and participate in PHESSCOM governance, while developing skills in a supportive, purpose-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Certified Safety Officer with OSH training/certification.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Health and Safety Program, including manuals and protocols.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work practices.
• Monitor and resolve health and safety findings through corrective actions.
• Identify hazards and enforce preventive measures, including work stoppage when needed.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, permits, and certifications.
• Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams on safety measures.
• Serve as Secretary of the Plant Health, Safety, Security, and Environment Committee.
• Lead emergency drills and act as a First Aider.
• Represent the company during safety inspections with government agencies.
