Job summary

BAYTECH BPO CORPORATION is seeking a Junior Software Quality Assurance Tester to join our Ortigas, Pasig office. The role focuses on ensuring software products are error-free and meet required standards for operation and usage, with emphasis on both in-development and released products.

You will conduct cross browser and cross-platform testing, develop and execute test cases, log defects, and participate in regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• College graduate preferably in Information Technology or any computer-related degree.
• Deep understanding of agile development cycle.
• Experience in using defect tracking tools.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum software development process.

Responsibilities

• Perform cross browser testing and cross-platform testing.
• Estimate testing efforts based on requirements and create test cases
• Log and track defects into completion
• Provide accurate status report
• Perform regression testing, exploratory testing and adhoc testing
• Perform User Acceptance testing
• Provide solutions/strategies to improve the testing process
