As an On-Cam Reporter, you will be responsible for gathering news, conducting interviews, and delivering compelling news stories live and on-tape for our broadcast and digital platforms. Responsibilities:

• News Gathering & Research:

• Identifying and developing news leads and story ideas relevant to our target audience.

• Conducting thorough research using various sources to ensure accuracy and context.

• Building and maintaining contacts within relevant communities and organizations.

• Interviewing:

• Conducting on-camera interviews with newsmakers, experts, and members of the public.

• Asking insightful and relevant questions to elicit key information and compelling narratives.

• Maintaining professionalism and impartiality during interviews.

• On-Camera Reporting:

• Presenting news stories clearly, concisely, and engagingly live and on-tape from various locations.

• Delivering accurate and up-to-date information with confidence and credibility.

• Maintaining a professional and polished on-air presence.

• Adapting reporting style to suit different news formats and platforms.

• Story Development & Writing:

• Collaborating with producers and editors to develop story angles and narratives.

• Writing clear, concise, and accurate news scripts and reports for broadcast and digital platforms.

• Incorporating multimedia elements (video, audio, graphics) into reporting.

• Live Reporting:

• Reporting live from news scenes, providing real-time updates and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, Broadcast Journalism, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an On-Cam Reporter or News Reporter, with a strong on-air presence.

• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills in both English and Filipino.

• Strong news judgment and a solid understanding of current local and national affairs.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct effective interviews and gather information.

• Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft clear and concise news reports.

• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with broadcast equipment and production processes is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of social media and digital news platforms.

• Must possess a professional demeanor and appearance on-camera.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as news demands.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for assignments is preferred.
