Job summary

John Clements Family is seeking an experienced Officer in Financial Reporting to lead fund accounting for Private Equity and Hedge Funds, overseeing interim and annual statements and ensuring GAAP/regulatory compliance.

The role requires 7–10 years in financial reporting or fund accounting, with CPA/CA/ACCA advantageous. Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and prior people management experience are essential. Hybrid setup in BGC, Taguig with day shift and global overlap.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in financial reporting, fund accounting or related fields.
• Experience covering mutual/hedge funds preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or similar qualification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Proven people management experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical review of Private Equity and Hedge Fund financial statements
• Manage the preparation and delivery of interim and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with controls, procedures, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
• Lead the resolution of accounting, audit, and client-related issues
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements
• Provide coaching and development to team members
• Manage team performance and support hiring and other people management activities
• Coordinate with internal teams and global partners to ensure timely deliverables

We're looking for an experienced Financial Reporting / Fund Accounting professional to join our team!

What we're looking for:

7-10 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Fund Accounting, Finance, or related fields, preferably covering Mutual/Hedge Funds

Previous people management experience

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS

Knowledge of Hedge Fund and Private Equity fund structures

Experience in financial statement review and resolution of accounting issues

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field

CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar professional qualification is an advantage
