AStella International Corporation is looking for an Occupational Screening Associate to support our Occupational Health Department in the administration, coordination, and processing of drug screening and occupational health services for clients.
The Occupational Screening Associate will provide key operational support in the ordering, monitoring, processing, and review of drug testing and occupational health screenings. The role ensures that services are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with client requirements and company standards.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and platforms. Experience in background screening, verifications, records research, or BPO operations is an advantage.
This position is similar to a Verification Specialist or Record Research Specialist, but focuses specifically on drug testing and occupational health screening services.
Assist in the ordering and management of drug testing and occupational health screening services.
Review client orders to ensure that appropriate services are requested and accurately assigned.
Monitor screening workflows and follow up on outstanding orders, appointments, and results.
Support the Drug & Occupational Health Manager with daily operational tasks and escalations.
Communicate with laboratories, occupational health providers, vendors, and internal teams regarding order status, requirements, and follow-ups.
Review screening results for completeness and identify discrepancies requiring further investigation.
Maintain accurate documentation and records within company systems.
Navigate and utilize multiple vendor and client platforms to process, monitor, and track orders.
Assist in troubleshooting order issues and resolving service delays.
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
Provide timely updates to internal teams regarding order status, turnaround times, and service-related concerns.
Participate in process improvement initiatives designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
Support cross-functional departments as needed, including Compliance, Verifications, Customer Success, and Operations.
Understand and follow established screening procedures and workflows.
Interpret client requirements and ensure that appropriate screenings are ordered.
Assist the Manager and team members with other operational responsibilities as assigned.
Support daily departmental activities and other related tasks as needed.
Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Manager.
Bachelor's degree in any course.
Previous experience in background screening, verification, records research, healthcare/occupational health, drug testing coordination, BPO, or related operations is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand and follow established procedures and workflows.
Ability to interpret client requirements and apply them accurately.
Comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems, databases, and online platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
