Job summary

Sembcorp is seeking an O&M Assistant Manager to oversee a portfolio of solar assets across Singapore, ensuring safe, reliable operation and achievement of contractual KPIs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in solar PV, electrical systems or industrial operations, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multi-site O&M activities, internal teams, contractors and customer-facing service contracts.
• Good working knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, SCADA and grid-connected electrical assets.
• Familiarity with Singapore WSH requirements, electrical safety controls and local regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day O&M activities across the assigned portfolio of solar and energy assets in Singapore.
• Ensure plant availability, response time, rectification time, energy generation and other contractual KPIs are monitored and achieved.
• Oversee remote monitoring and SCADA alarm management, including timely investigation, escalation and closure of faults.
• Review performance ratio, specific yield, losses, degradation trends and recurring defects, and implement improvement plans.
• Lead root-cause analysis for significant failures, underperformance and repeated equipment issues.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns, switching activities and restoration of plant following faults or maintenance.
