Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Nutanix Engineer/ Networking IT Support Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure. This freelance, on-call role requires flexibility to work across regional time zones and respond to incidents as needed.

You will deploy Nutanix HCI environments, lead upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with global teams on cloud projects, with emphasis on on-call readiness and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure or virtualization engineering.
• Nutanix stack experience is required.
• Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V is preferred.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with DR and backup tools.
• Scripting (PowerShell/Python) is advantageous.

• Deploy and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism)

• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in infrastructure or virtualization engineering
