Job description

• General Job Description Abide by the rules and regulations of the Company. Follow instructions from immediate superiors and Hospital Management according to the norms of the Company. Willing to work in other areas of the hospital, if required.
• Identifies training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes, and regular consultations with the Chief Nurse, QMS, and HRD.
• Designs and expands training and development programs based on the needs of the organization and the individual;
• Works in a team to produce programs that are satisfactory to all nursing staff in the organization.
• Provides the cost of planned programs and keeps within budgets by assessing the return on investment of any training or development programs.
• Develops an effective induction and immersion program for all newly hired nurses.
• Conducts appraisals of performance.
• Devise individual learning plans;
• Produces training materials for in-house courses, lectures, and seminars.
• Manages the delivery of training and development programs and, in a more senior role, devises a training strategy for the organization;
• Monitors and reviews the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers;
• Ensures that statutory training requirements are met;
• Evaluates training and development programs of its effectiveness.
• Amends and revises programs as necessary to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment;
• Helps unit heads solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups;
• Keeps up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings, and attending relevant seminars, lectures, and/or conventions.
• Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, be involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages;
• Researches new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presents this researches that apply to the organization.

Job Requirements

• A graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Must be a licensed Nurse, Graduate of MAN
• 2-3 years of training
• Can handle pressure; with strong moral & spiritual values; can relate well at all levels of the organization; honest & trustworthy; familiar with ultrasound machines and knowledgeable with medical terminology.
