Job summary

Microchip Technology is seeking an experienced Engineer to support NPI, product development and manufacturing engineering for mechanical relay products. You will work under the supervision of the Engineering Manager to ensure line efficiency, maintain specifications, and drive process improvements.

The role requires strong math, communication, leadership, and project management skills, with prior experience in related fields.

Qualifications

BS Electrical Engineering or related degree; license is an advantage.
Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
7+ years in NPI, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
Willing to work in Calamba Laguna.
Experience with electromechanical or semiconductor relay products.

Responsibilities

Perform routine tasks under the supervision of Engineering Manager.
Keep line running per specifications, controls, and standards; update docs.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Conduct DOE, product and process capability analyses as needed.
Lead data gathering, performance monitoring, testing, and analysis.
Develop and deploy process/test methodologies for Mechanical Relay line.
Escalate and resolve issues affecting quality and deliveries with Business Units.
Provide weekly engineering metrics reports and recommendations.
