Job summary

MicroSourcing in Pasay City (Mall of Asia) is seeking a NOC Support Associate to monitor network devices, servers, and applications for performance and availability, respond to alerts per SOPs, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.

This hybrid role requires a 1–3 year background in network operations or IT support, a related degree, knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and monitoring tools, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1-3 years in network operations, IT support, or a NOC environment.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and monitoring tools.
• Experience troubleshooting network, server, and application issues.
• Basic understanding of firewalls, routers, and switches.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network devices, servers, and applications for performance and availability.

Your Role

As a NOC Support Associate, you will:

• Monitor network devices, servers, and applications for performance and availability.
• Respond to alerts and incidents, troubleshooting issues according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate teams while maintaining accurate incident logs.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and maintenance activities.
• Support scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and network changes.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in network operations, IT support, or a NOC environment.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and monitoring tools.
• Experience with troubleshooting network, server, and application issues.
• Basic understanding of firewalls, routers, and switches.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Understanding of forex/fintech brokerage concepts (e.g., FIX Protocol, MetaTrader platforms MT4/MT5, Liquidity Providers).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle on-call responsibilities.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
