Job summary

IT by Design Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced NOC L2 Engineer to support network and security infrastructure for a US-based client. The role involves hands-on work with Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, firewalls, and switches in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and ensure accurate ticketing and updates while meeting defined SLAs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in NOC/Network Operations or Network Engineering.
• Hands-on Fortinet experience is required.
• Familiarity with Cisco devices and Meraki is essential.
• Strong TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, routing and switching knowledge.
• Excellent communication while supporting US-based clients.

About the role

• 2+ years of experience in NOC, Network Operations, or Network Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet
• Good experience with Cisco
• Strong understanding of firewalls and switches

• Solid TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, routing, and switching knowledge
• Experience troubleshooting network incidents at L2 level
• Strong communication skills and confidence supporting US-based clients
• MSP, managed services, or multi-client experience is highly preferred
