Job summary

RELX is seeking a skilled data analyst to perform data analysis and reporting across sales regions. You will collect, manipulate, and analyze data, design queries, and develop dashboards that scale across teams.

You will ensure data quality, support BI systems, create documentation, and assist in end-user training. The role emphasizes GDPR compliance and collaboration with sales and functional teams, with opportunities to learn new products and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two years of college without back subjects or incomplete units.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in a business or sales environment analyzing data, writing queries, and developing reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to relate information into actionable recommendations to optimize sales, marketing, and business initiatives.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn various internal customer, sales tools, and related applications
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of the sales organization and develop and maintain solid working relationships with those teams to establish trust.
• Willing to work on fixed night shift
• Requires proficient use of SQL, Outlook, Excel and Internet Applications
• Strong organizational, time management and forecasting skills
• Internet connection - 10mbps above
• Proven customer service skills and strong customer focus required.
• Exposure in Tableau, Salesforce and PowerBI is an advantage
• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Performs data analysis and reporting to support sales regions.
• Collects and manipulates data and develops queries to analyze and report internal data.
• Prepares reports and recommendations and interprets data as appropriate.
• Develops and supports reporting and BI systems across business functions.
• Designs dashboards that are user-friendly, scalable across multiple teams, provide drill down capabilities.
• Performs advanced data hygiene checks and implement precautionary measures to ensure data quality.
• Verifies the collected data is within required quality standards.
• Maintains documentation related to data infrastructure, dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
• Assists in the development of end-user training materials.
• Adheres to current standards (e.g., GDPR requirements).
• Other duties as assigned.
