Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing.
• Working knowledge of general ledger processes, balance sheet accounts, and fundamental accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information and work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare daily balancing reports and verify the completeness and accuracy of financial data.
• Review balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules to identify unusual or outstanding items.
• Prepare and post daily accounting entries with appropriate documentation and approvals.
• Record accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and on time.
• Process invoices, verify supporting documentation, apply appropriate coding, and route items for approval.
• Balance and verify internal and intercompany accounts, resolving differences with relevant teams.
• Prepare and respond to audit confirmation requests and provide supporting records for audits.
• Prepare variance analysis reports, explain significant movements, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Maintain organized accounting records and comply with policies and internal controls.
