Job Description
About Us
Longbridge is a new-generation, AI-driven online brokerage on a mission to make investing smarter, simpler, and more accessible for everyone. Headquartered in Singapore, we are redefining the investment journey by connecting the stages of "Discovery -> Learning -> Trading". With our proprietary AI assistant, Longbridge AI, and a cloud-native infrastructure, we provide retail investors with institutional-grade insights and a seamless global trading network. At Longbridge, you won't just be working for a brokerage; you'll be building the future of financial infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
SESSION COVERAGE & EXECUTION
- Shift coverage: Cover the US pre-market, cash session, close and post-close window, five days a week, from 9pm to 6am.
- Order handling: Monitor order flow and execution quality throughout the session, and handle client orders and enquiries arriving during those hours.
- Handover: Take live handover from the mid shift at the start of the shift and hand over to the day desk at the end, with a written record of open items.
PLATFORM STABILITY & ESCALATION
- Connectivity monitoring: Detect connectivity or platform disruption during US trading hours and elevate immediately, so issues are investigated the same night rather than surfacing the following morning after clients have been affected.
- Escalation: Escalate exceptions to the Head of Dealing, and to Risk and Operations where exposures or settlement are affected.
- Regional support: Support the other LongBridge entities through overlapping hours.
CLIENT EXPERIENCE
- Order assistance: Assist clients in placing orders where needed.
- Record keeping: Maintain the order and exception log for the shift and ensure all client instructions are properly recorded.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in finance, business, economics or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of dealing experience at a licensed broker, with hands-on US market execution.
- Prior experience working a night or overnight dealing shift is an advantage.
- CMFAS modules - RES 1A, RES 2A, RES 5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP or CM-CMP, and CM-CIS - or legacy equivalents: Modules 1A, 2A, 5, 6, 6A, 8 and 8A. Ability to complete the applicable current modules promptly is required; active MAS appointed representative status is preferred.
- Working knowledge of US equities, options and listed futures, and of exchange and clearing mechanics.
- Familiarity with OMS/EMS platforms, market data feeds and order routing.
- Willing and able to work the night shift on a sustained basis.
- Calm and methodical under pressure, with the judgement to know when to elevate rather than wait.
- Clear written and spoken English; a second regional language is an advantage.
